Showstopper

Burt’s Bees was a highlight of the recent Organic Expo www.organicxpo.com.au in Melbourne, winning the Best Dressed Showroom Award and gathering lots of new members for the Australian Hive.

This Award recognises some great work by Australian National Merchandising Manager, Jeff Belli, who designed, built, packed and deployed the whole stand.

The Organic Expo was held in the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne and was visited by over 7,000 people over the three days, checking out 160 exhibits. Hundreds of visitors to the Burt’s Bees stand also signed up to join the Australian Burt’s Bees Hive, our special customer database. Members of the Hive will be the first to hear of new developments at Burt’s Bees, including new sustainability initiatives, new products, what we’re doing for the Greater Good and where to get those special offers.

To have your name and contact details added to our Australian Hive please email us at enquiries@burtsbees.com.au with your name, address and email contact.
Please note your details will only be used for Burt’s Bees promotions and information and will not be passed on to any other parties.

The Organic Expo program also featured a panel session entitled Secrets to Green Business Success. Burt’s Bees Australia General Manager Emma Atkinson spoke on the topic, along with Don Lazzaro from Pure Harvest, The session was chaired by Scott Kinnear from Organic Wholefoods and the Q&A session reflected growing interest in doing business the green way. With 25 years experience in doing just that, Burt’s Bees can be used as a case study for Australian businesses just starting out on the journey to sustainability.

Introducing the Natural Seal for Personal Care Products

Natural Seal

Did you know that 78% of people believe that the designation "natural" is currently regulated and 97% think it should be? The fact is, it's not.

But starting now, "natural" can — and will — have the same meaning across the natural personal care products industry.

We're proud to announce that, along with the Natural Products Association and leading natural personal care companies, Burt's Bees has developed The Natural Products Association Natural Standard for Personal Care Products. It's a universally recognized set of guidelines designed to ensure your well-being by outlining when a product can be deemed truly "natural," based on the ingredients and processes that are used to make it.

And now, products that meet this standard can proudly wear the Natural Seal. Soon, the seal will appear in stores on Burt's Bees products and other truly natural personal care products. Find out more about the guidelines set forth in The Natural Standard for Personal Care Products and what the Natural Seal means to you at The Natural Product Association website.
