Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad formula change Before the formula change, the pomegranate lip balm was my go to lip balm and I had been using it for years. It worked perfectly on my lips and kept them hydrated for long periods of time. When the formula first changed, I didn't think much of it, I assumed I bought a faulty and was willing to buy a new one seeing as this was my favourite lip balm. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't a faulty, but I still decided to keep on using it. As a result, my lips sadly didn't react well with the ingredients used, and for some reason it has caused my lips to become sore and very sensitive. This was never an issue in the past, and I would also like to add that the 'improved' formula has also caused my lips to become crumbly. It's really a shame that I now have to find another alternative lip balm when this one has been my all time favourite for several years... Is there a way to bring the old formula back please? It would mean so much to me... Would posting this online on social media make you guys more likely to take action on this matter?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is not good. I have used this for years, it's my favorite. The new formula is clumpy and makes getting the cap on and off almost impossible without making a mess. It also has a very unpleasant perfumed/soapy smell. Please change it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Formula change in Pomegranate Lip Balm I am so disappointed that you changed the formula for your Pomegranate lip balm. It used to have the perfect consistency and tint that enhanced my natural lip color. Now, it's thick and sort of crumbly. Chunks of the balm stay behind on my lips after applying. The new scent is the worst change, though. It used to smell faintly fruity. The fragrance now smells like grass mixed with cigarettes, and it actually makes me gag. I thought it was a fluke when I first purchased the new formula, but they're all like this. I I just found an old Pomegranate tube in the bottom of a bag, and I compared it to your current product. Day and night difference. The new version is awful. Please bring back the old formula. It was perfect the way it was.

One of the reviews indicated a formula change. I’m so sorry for this as the old formula was 1000 times better. I now must find another that I can tolerate. Burt’s Bees, change it back please!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Formula Changed I’ve been buying the pomegranate lip balm for years; it was my favorite but I’ve recently bought 4 tubes in the past few months from different retailers and they all smelled like cheap children’s toy makeup! This lip balm used to smell like sweet pomegranate with a hint of rose but now it reeks of cheap filler oils.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So very bummed I go through a lot of Burt’s Bees lip gloss. And I’m picky. There are only a few flavors that I adore. The others are meh. I used to be able to buy packages of 8 or 12 of the flavors I want at a reasonable price. Now they only sell 2 or 4 packs, at a not so reasonable price. Now most packages are mixes that contain one or two that I can’t stand. Guessing I’m going to have to go out and see if there is another lip gloss manufacturer that makes a product I like and will sell it I. Quantity.
